  • Firewalls: Routers and ASA based
  • Intrusion Prevention System: Appliance-based IPS and IOS IPS

Course Objectives:

  • Configure Cisco FWSM firewall devices and Cisco ASA adaptive security devices, and also understand the correlation between firewall event management and device configuration.

  • Understand how Cisco IOS devices work with CSM
  • Use the FlexConfig capability in CSM 4.0, the operation workflows, and integrating with Cisco Secure ACS and other administrative tasks.
